Madison's mom is a fairy, but her dad is a mortal. Madison isn't old enough to be a mermaid yet OR to get her fairy wings, so her mom bought her a mermaid outfit to wear and practice in. Madison's family comes from a small seaside village, where only sea people can live. It is in a distant land. It is known for it's pink sand. Madison has a tiny bottle of the magical pink sand and keeps it with her at all times.
